Telecoms calling

Yorkshire engineers HJCE is targeting telecoms growth with the appointment of associate (structure) Stuart Farrell (right) and technical apprentice Jack Paddey

Two new starters will help us expand our commercial footprint and strengthen our service offering.

Stuart Farrell joins as an associate (structures), bringing more than 25 years of experience in telecoms structures design and management to the role.

Working alongside the senior leadership team, his extensive expertise and broad understanding of delivering engineering projects in the wireless sector, network evolution, and asset management will see the company expand its work nationally while meeting the exacting requirements of network operators.

Stuart will be particularly involved in supporting director Andy Jennings, whose work in building design ensures that projects for telecoms sector clients such as WHP Telecoms, Circet and KTL are rooted in time-tested engineering principles.

We are also investing in future engineering talent with the appointment of school leaver Jack Paddey, who will assist the 26-strong team with technical tasks, data analysis, and hands-on project management in his capacity as a new technical apprentice.

MD Andrew Fairburn, said: “Our business is only as strong as our people, and we recognise the importance of securing talented people such as Stuart and Jack to deliver first-class client services. We are proud of the calibre of people who we attract and work for us, as we strive to deliver excellence and grow our national footprint.”
